WE NEED YOUR HELP

The provincial government should not be getting into a property rights issue with an industry that is already well regulated by law – especially not now.

• The economy has badly faltered.
• Vacancy rates are up.
• Rents are down.

There is a historic ebb and flow of rental rates in Alberta that aligns with the Consumer Price Index.

The provincial government should focus on housing subsidies directly to Albertans.

Further, experience in other jurisdictions shows rent control limits the supply of affordable housing and ultimately works against the people it’s supposed to help.

We are asking you, as Alberta Landlords, to make your voices known to the provincial government.

2012 Tournament a Success

First of all I just want to thank everyone that participated whether a sponsor, golfer or volunteer, we could not have done this without you. We had 97 golfers and raised $21867.49 we may not have reached my goal of 100 golfers but we did exceed my goal of $20,000 and we know it is going to a great charity, please see Lori McRitchie comments from the Airdrie Food Bank.
